Important before ordering

Check if navigation is activated on your Ford SYNC2 system .

Does “Information System” appear in the top right of the screen? If so, the navigation function is not activated and this F12 SD card is not suitable .

Compare your system with the product photos to check if you have the correct navigation system.

SYNC2 software update to version 3.10

Does your Ford SYNC2 still have software version 3.08 ? Then you can update the system to version 3.10 , including the Dutch language.

1. Download the SYNC2 software update 3.10 here.
2. Use an empty, formatted USB stick of at least 1 GB .
3. Copy the SyncMyRide folder and the autoinstall.lst file to the USB stick.
4. Insert the USB stick into the car's USB port. Remove any other connected USB devices.
5. Turn on SYNC2. Let the car idle during the installation or perform the update while driving. Disable the start-stop system .
6. The installation takes approximately 30 minutes . During the update, SYNC2 may restart multiple times.
7. Upon completion, SYNC2 was updated to version 3.10 .

Please note: after the software update, it may be necessary to reconnect paired phones to SYNC2.

Important: the update from version 3.08 to 3.10 does not activate the navigation function. Navigation must already be activated on the SYNC2 system.

What should you do when the F12 card is not working?

• Check if your Ford is actually equipped with SYNC2 .
• Check if the navigation function is activated .
• Check if the SD card is correctly inserted into the card reader.
• Remove the SD card, restart SYNC2, and reinsert the card.
• Check the installed SYNC2 software version . With version 3.08, you can update the system to version 3.10 .
• Does “Information System” appear in the top right? Then the navigation function is not activated.
