How do I check my firmware version?

Press and hold the SETUP button for approximately 5 seconds until the system menu appears.

Here you can check the installed software/firmware version.

Is R50 already on your navigation system? Then you only need to insert the new navigation SD card.

Install Firmware R50

1. Start the car engine.
2. Remove the navigation SD card.
3. Insert the included Firmware R50 SD card .
4. Wait until the navigation system recognizes the update.
5. Select YES when asked if you want to update the firmware.
6. Wait until the installation is fully completed. The system may restart multiple times during the update.
7. If you are asked again after the last restart whether you want to perform the update, select NO .
8. Remove the firmware SD card.

The installation usually takes about 30 minutes .

⚠️ Important

Do not turn off the engine during the firmware update.

Do not remove the SD card or operate the navigation system during the installation. An interrupted firmware update may cause problems with the system.

After the installation, you can check if R50 is installed correctly using the SETUP button.

Install navigation map 2026

After any firmware update:

1. Remove the firmware SD card.
2. Insert the Europe 2026 navigation SD card .
3. The MyWay / Wip Nav RNEG system automatically recognizes the map.
4. You can use the updated navigation maps immediately.

Is this update suitable for every Peugeot or Citroën?

No. This update is only suitable for cars with the MyWay / Wip Nav RNEG navigation system .

What will I receive?

You will receive 2 SD cards :

1. Europe 2026 navigation SD card including speed cameras/risk zones
2. Firmware R50 SD card

Do I always have to install firmware R50?

No. If R50 is already on your navigation system, you can skip this step and use the navigation map directly.

Are speed cameras included?

Yes. The navigation SD card also contains speed cameras / high-risk zones .

Do I need an activation code?

No. No activation code is required for this MyWay / Wip Nav RNEG navigation update.
